I made some homemade bread the other day and took a piccy before it all got gobbled up.

It was yummy, not much lasts in my house with 5 hungry mouths to feed (all male I might add ranging from 14 to 40).

I made fairy cakes today but they vanished, they must have been magic.!!!!

Anyway we finished the bread off with a healthy salad, (olives my favorite off to get some more now).

I have been a busy bee of late and have lots to share with you over they next few days.

Firstly the 50/50 group has taken off really well, I shared one of my wedding cake Digi's with the group and hopefully will see some people put it to good use.

Its a stamp not even listed on my store via YSD yet, but soon will be. I think I will gauge the popularity of an item based on what the craft members of the group think of it and then list it on this basis.

I already have my next image for the group in the pipeline already to be inked up.

Shall I give you a clue............................

I am now in the process of setting up shop on YSD, in time for the start of the digi stamping group on the special 50/50 starting on the 4th Feb.

Gina has been my first customer and purchased some of my bits and created some lovely papers with them, she has used them on a site called Crafts u print, not heard of it before but just took a peek and look dangerous (my paypal would be cleaned out on there lol).

Here are three of the papers Gina made, with my tea and toast donut and sundae image.

I thought I would share one of my current favorite stamps, I like seeing them in colour as it shows what can be achieved when you purchase and colour them in yourselves.

I may change my packaging to include the colour image too.

A novelty teapot design, I have others such as a teacake design.

It took me a while to try to create a way to present it as many seem to do, I think it makes the image look more professional.

More to come now I am in the swing of it.

My best Christmas gift

My best Christmas gift this year was from my mum, a Tagine.

Though my Husband does not really like the sweetness of Morrocan cooking so I try to do a bit of fusion cooking as they call it lol.

Today I experimented with some swede, yum.

This is how I created my dish

I melted some onions in olive oil adding salt and some pureed garlic and ginger.
I then added a tip of a teaspoon of the following spices, Garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmaric and pepper.
I cut the swede in half and sliced it into thickish wedges and added to the base mix in the Tagine and placed on the lid.
The steam now softens the Swede beautifully.
To finish add some fresh chopped coridaner.

Its a lightly spiced dish with the natural sweetness of the swede adding a great flavor and the caramalised onions adding a great flavor.
